Mural Painting on NAGN wall (Robert Mugabe Avenue) in collaboration with College of the Arts and Neo Paints.
The spread of COVID-19 has disrupted all aspects of everyday life. We now face new challenges—from how we interact with one another on a daily basis to how we plan for the future.
Students from the College of the Arts (COTA) from the creative expression classes have painted a mural on the NAGN exterior wall. They contributed individual ways how they have observed Namibians were affected by Covid -19.
The students are practising techniques and skills in painting and designing. The paint was generously sponsored by NEOPAINTS.
This mural essentially serves as a reminder to take care of yourself and those dearest to you, but it also highlights whom we need to appreciate, our essential service workers, the elderly whom have found themselves most vulnerable.
We encourage companies who have walls that artists could express your message to paint a mural – this could improve their livelihoods.
